Mosey ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the Mosey app ("the app") collects, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

• Account information — when you create an account (via email/password or Sign in with Apple), we receive your email address, and your name if provided, to create and manage your account.
• Location data — while you record a walk, the app collects precise GPS location to draw your walk route and map. Location is only collected during an active walk.
• Pet and walk content — the pets you add, the walks you record, and any photos or notes you attach.
• Usage and analytics data — we collect information about how you use the app (for example, actions such as starting or saving a walk) to understand and improve the product.
• Approximate location (from analytics) — our analytics provider may derive an approximate location (such as city or country) from your IP address.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide the app's core features (recording walks, saving keepsakes, sharing pets with family), to keep the app working reliably, and to improve it over time. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party service providers to run the app. They process data only to provide their services to us:

• Supabase — account, pet, and walk data storage
• Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication
• PostHog — product analytics
• Mapbox — maps and location display

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. When you delete your account, we remove your associated personal data from our systems. Some information may be retained where required for legal or operational reasons.
